The 2023 Fender Custom Shop collection, 1950 Double Esquire, delves deep into the history of Fender's early solid body guitars. The single-pickup Esquire debuted in April 1950 as Fender's first solid-body electric Spanish guitar, and a two-pickup model was added in October of the same year. The new 1950 Double Esquire pays homage to the model of its era, with a unique and carefully crafted combination that makes it a one-of-a-kind piece.

A two-piece Select Ash body with off-center seams delivers balanced highs and a lively, sweet midrange.
