Debuting in 1962, the Jaguar® featured a 24-inch scale, impressive offset body, multiple switching and tone options, and was eventually unveiled as Fender's top-of-the-line model, surpassing the Stratocaster®. This '66 Jaguar has a 2-piece select alder body with a Deluxe Closet Classic finish and a sophisticated aged look that you can only expect from a well-cared-for guitar over the years. The '66 Jaguar C-shaped straight-grain maple neck features a 9.5"-radius round ram rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo (6150) frets for smooth playability.
Shielded '62 Jaguar pickups enhance the hum-canceling effect and bright, complex tone with vintage Jaguar rhythm and lead wiring. Features include a 4-ply brown shell pickguard, vintage-style bridge and floating tremolo tailpiece, Schaller® "F" tuning machines, bone nut and winged string tree with tall metal spacers. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
