Gibson Johnny Smith 1964 Sunburst with Original Lifton Case

Weight: 6 lbs 10 oz
Neck depth 1st fret: .82"
Neck depth 12th fret: .95"

1964 Gibson Johnny Smith just in!  This is an awesome sounding instrument and it has been lovingly played.  Hands down one of the good ones!  Only 22 of these were made in Sunburst in 1964.  Output jack professionally installed, but the original 1/8 jack on the pickguard works as it should too (cable included.)  The pickup is original with added pole pieces to fine tune the sound.  Frets are not original, but are really well done and in beautiful shape.  As this is a nearly 60 year old guitar that has been played, there is plenty of honest player's wear in the original finish.  Adding to the beauty you'll find some finish checking/settling, wear through and some dents and dimples here and there.  The ones that have been played generally are played for a reason...they sound great!  Again, this is an exceptional sounding and playing instrument.  Original Lifton case is in great shape and functions well.  Please message with any questions.
